Darden's Dangerously Delicious Fudge Pie

Decadence in a flaky pie crust, and we don’t use the word dangerously lightly. Rich, fudgy, chocolatey goodness made from a treasured Darden family recipe dating back to 1950s Waycross, Georgia.

Serve it warm and gooey with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, enjoy it at room temperature, or stash it in the freezer for a little slice (or sneaky forkful) whenever the craving strikes. This crown jewel has been stealing the spotlight at Darden family celebrations for generations. And yes, we fully support eating it for breakfast.

Some family traditions are simply too delicious not to share.

Serving Suggestion	FUDGE PIE SERVING SUGGESTION: Thaw pie 4 hours prior to serving. Remove plastic wrap. May be served warm or room temp. If desired, warm uncovered at 275° for 10 minutes let cool for 15 minutes and serve with ice cream. Keep refrigerated after serving.

Friends brought this pie for Christmas last year and I’ve never tasted anything so luscious. It was obscene. Seriously. Now I’m on this site trying to pick out one or two pies…my struggle is real. Thank you for providing something so sumptuous and for a good cause too!

Started off with a tiny piece. Then another tiny piece. Then another…it truly is dangerously delicious! For those who aren’t rich chocolate/fudge lovers it is not too rich, yet full of flavor! Try just a tiny piece 😉

I’m not kidding when I say this is the best pie I’ve ever had in my entire life. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever had and reminds me of a gooey brownie with a pie crust. I could not stop eating it!!!
